Jadin Helix serial number 013 was born in a test tube at a Coalition laboratory as a product of a gene mutation program set up to create enhanced beings that would be obedient shock troop soldiers. He stands 6’ 2” 195 lbs and the most unusual feature is his blue hair. Two hundred other subjects were created, but not all were created equal, and most would not have the same chance as Jadin. Known as “Thirteen” to the science team, Jadin was the first to survive without any serious side effects. His parents were killed in an uprising against the Coalition involving the Federation of Magic and Psychic DeeBees. His origins explain his immense Magical and Psychic energy that is stored inside his body. He is unable to use or manipulate this abundance of energy, but the science team believes it is the cause of his inability to sleep and unnatural fitness. If the energy was to be forcibly removed or drained from Jadin it is unknown what could happen. It is Jadin’s belief that this energy is his life-force.
Jadin’s intellect is off the charts, and his body is unnaturally fit. Both are the results of the energies that are stored up inside his body. Jadin’s great comprehensive skills allow him to excel in anything he puts his mind too. He learned to build things before he could read and always had a natural mechanical aptitude. After Jadin went through his basic soldier training he was scheduled to advance as a Special Forces operative, but the high ranking officers did not like the fact that he was a DeeBee. Instead he ran with the dog packs cleaning up shanty towns and tracking down unregistered psychics. When he wasn’t off running with the pack he was working for Coalition officer named Dr. Hanson Tacoma who had become Jadin’s mentor. Tacoma wasn’t a caring father figure, but he challenged Jadin’s intellect and pushed him hard.
Dr. Hanson Tacoma had a special research and development lab which was dedicated to Automated Mechanics and Advanced Weaponry. Jadin was an excellent student of Tacoma’s, and when he wasn’t engineering new weapons of war he was testing them. Tacoma saw brilliance in Jadin, and he treated him more like an intellectual tool rather than a son. Crafting new weapons was exciting, but not nearly as exciting as testing them. It was the application of weapons in the field that excited Jadin the most. Working the most dangerous areas with his pack, he was able to field test his prototype weapons. He grew a special and strong bond with his dog boy pack, but Jadin was treated with little respect by other fellow soldiers. Jadin often shaved his head to hide his blue hair, but it didn’t stop the name calling. They called him an abomination, freak and nicknamed him “Thirteen” and “Blue Head”. Rather than let his peers get the better of him, Jadin embraced his uniqueness. He tattooed the number 13 on the left side of his chest and let his hair grow long, and worked twice as hard as a soldier to prove his worthiness. His team was called blue squad, and when citizens saw Jadin’s blue hair they gave respect, because his dog pack was known to be savage. His fellow dog boys dyed blue stripes in their fur out of respect for their leader. Everything changed when Jadin’s ambition to find a notorious physic that was on the Coalitions most wanted. A huge battle ensued and Jadin lost all of his team members, it was a standoff….but something happened…
The last thing Jadin remembered was an Explosion and being blown off his feet and then launched into darkness. The next thing he remembered was seeing a swirling purple portal close and he blacked out. When he finally awoke from the blast he found himself in a forest wearing his Coalition uniform he had during the hunt. His memory was fuzy, and his head was throbbing with pain as if he was struck in the head with a bat. No noticeable bruising or cuts, but his whole body ached. Somehow he had been transported to a forest, he didn’t know how much time had passed or where he was, but he felt freedom for the first time.
